Reasonable time limits for settlement of claims

for non-delivery of wagons/complete consignments

6 months
(b)
for non-delivery of complete packages 4 months
(c)
for shortage/damage/breakage etc 3 months
  Note :-
  (1) Some exceptional cases which involve end to end tracing and detailed enquiries, might take a little longer time.
 

(2) To get an early compensation, ensure that application is accompanied by requisite documents.
